The campground itself is a decent place to stay.  There is a laundry room, clean restrooms and showers, and a store on site.  The tent sites are standard size but are limited (there are only 10 tent sites).  There are plenty of RV sites, including pull through spots up to 44 ft.

Nine picnic benches and two pavilions dot the campground with some shade and grassy areas.  If you have pets with you, they offer a pet area as well.  There are fishing opportunities in two private ponds plus the river.

If you have small children, there is a playground available on site- located near the tent sites; but when we were there, it was in serious need of repair.  When booking your camping spot, be cautious and try to avoid the spots right next to the river.  It’s fast-flowing and cold water.

Our biggest complaints: the playground was disturbing (which could have been updated by now), being too close to the river with small children, curtains for stalls in the main bathroom, and it was extremely noisy.  With that said, would we stay there again?  If there was a need and nothing else was available, yes- we would probably stay there.
