On our Western Caribbean cruise we took an excursion in every port. We decided to do something a bit different and more laid back when it came to Roatan Island off the coast of Honduras. We hired a local with a minivan to meet us just outside of the cruise terminal. She spent the day taking us around on a private tour of the island. We went from tip to tip of Roatan Honduras exploring resorts, botanical gardens, beaches, grocery stores (yes, it’s fun to visit “common” things in other countries), and around the cities. It was a blast!
