On my first trip to Cozumel I had arranged through Carnival Cruise line to take a tour to the Mayan ruins in Tulum. However, bad weather didn’t allow us to go to shore. Carnival did what they could to re arrange and provided us a tour of Cozumel. It hadn’t been too many years since a big hurricane had swept the island (I hear they’re recovering). On the tour we went through the Discover Mexico Park. Again, the weather was horrible… but I was very happy with the tour and enjoyed seeing the art and miniatures highlighting some of the most beautiful and regal buildings in Mexico.
