Winslow Arizona
Winslow, Arizona- famous for the song Take It Easy and, consequently, the Standing on the Corner Park – is conveniently located in eastern Arizona- close to the Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest, Flagstaff, and even the Grand Canyon (about two hours drive). It also sits right off of history’s most famous highway- Route 66.
If you find yourself in this quaint little town, take a few minutes to walk through some of the shops. There are a couple of souvenir shops that are fun to browse. I would like to point out that there aren’t many places to use the restroom, so you have to buy something if you want to use one of the local facilities.
Taking a picture on the famous corner is a must if you are in town but be careful with traffic. Also, parking can be difficult to find in Winslow.
